About me and my practice
I am trained to safely integrate ideas and strategies from recognised therapeutic approaches and will do so to ensure that our work together is appropriate for you.
You're not alone and within us we all have the need to be connected with ourselves and sometimes we struggle feeling connected to others, to feel okay and have our own sense of purpose. We live in a fast pace changing world, which doesn't always support us, when we wish to be truly heard, at our pace and to have the private time to reflect and make changes.
Takes courage to say I need support. You've taken that first step by looking for a counsellor and I'm hoping you will let me be part of your personal journey. Where I can help you find that inner voice that can talk freely about what is causing you heartache, distress, fear. Whilst identifying strategies and building on your resilience.
Experience
In practice for 6+ years working with adults, young people and children. Working privately and with a large charity providing mental health services in the Gloucestershire area from the ages of 9 through to 25 years.
I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I can offer a combination of therapeutic approaches to support your specific personal needs, hopes and goals.
Qualifications
Qualifications with Counselling and Psychotherapy Awarding Body (CPCAB):
Level 4 in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling
Level 5 in Counselling Children and Young People
Level 5 in Supervision (Adults and CYP)
TQUK Level 2 in Self Harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention

NSPCC Child Protection
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Initial Consultation
I offer a free 20 minute consultation to see how we can work together
Fees
£40 per session
The session is 50 minutes and usually attended on a weekly basis.
Payment for a session is within 24 hours of the session and via bank transfer. In the event of a cancellation, a minimum of 48 hours is required or full fee will be payable. Where possible I will try to offer an alternative time. Notification would be via email or text.
